My name is LAWRENCE HE, a sound designer, originally born in Los Angeles, grew up in China, returned to the US for college, and stayed here ever since.

Maybe it was due to my musical background, I love spending my free time just listening to the world around me, whether it’s the sudden burst of Transformer-style sound from the LA Metro buses or that annoying exotic bird that screams in Pasadena at 5 AM.
Why 704?
704 is the classroom number where I spent a lot of time working during my days at Emerson College. It was there that I truly discovered my love and obsession with the art of cinematic sound. What better way to cherish the passion that jumpstarted my career than by using the very place that began this journey for my personal website?
